Full Weekend Events

With the height of the pandemic mostly behind us, couples are going all in for their wedding celebrations in 2022 and 2023. Next year we will see more of the full wedding weekend itinerary and couples’ making the most out of their celebration. From welcome parties, activities, and dinners, to post wedding brunch. It’s a full weekend of celebrating and we are all for it. Custom tote bags filled with local goodies and a fun printed itinerary will make your guests feel like this weekend is a whole experience for them too. Couples can round up locations that are significant to them, as well as their favorite local hot spots on a cute custom map like this one from Feathered Heart Prints.

Statement Florals

Dramatic, statement floral installations have been making their way into the wedding scene over the past several months and we think this is going to continue as a 2023 wedding trend. Hanging floral installations whether made from greenery or packed with blooms will make a big statement at your ceremony or over your reception tables. There are some amazing Los Angeles wedding venues like loft spaces or historical buildings that are primed with overhead beams to make this look happen. Millwick, HNYPT, and Carondelet House are a few of our faves!

Architectural florals are becoming more popular for our favorite modern wedding vibe. In the past couple of years, wedding ceremonies were set in front of different shaped frames adorned with florals. But in 2023 we will see a fresher approach to this by framing the ceremony in full florals, creating structures in all different directions. I personally love this fresh approach to statement wedding flowers for a modern wedding aesthetic.

Mismatched Bridal Party

Mismatched bridesmaid dresses and wedding party attire are a favorite of mine that I love to keep seeing. We’ve long since moved away from everyone wearing the same thing, and brides are getting more and more intentional and creative with their squad style. A well thought out plan for your wedding party attire can result in pure cohesive perfection. But make sure to give guidance: long vs short, print or solid, color palette, and examples of the overall vibe will all help your wedding party know what you are looking for. I personally love the mix of prints and solids with different fabric textures!

After Party Wedding Mini Dresses

One big 2023 wedding dress trend from the runway was mini dresses. I love this idea as a post dinner dress change to get that party mood going! Los Angeles weddings are made of warm summer nights which is the perfect time for these sweet wedding mini dresses to make their debut on the dance floor. Dress change anyone?
