I’m so excited to share this moody fall wedding photoshoot at The Fig House in Los Angeles from Alexes Lauren Photography. Working with the creative team on this shoot was a dream and I was so happy with how everyone’s talents came together. As a Los Angeles wedding planner, I love getting creative at unique venues like this! If you’re planning a fall Los Angeles wedding, you’ll definitely enjoy this moody and modern Fig House wedding inspiration!
Sustainability is something I see many of my couples noting as important to them in planning their wedding. So I was so excited to partner with RING BEAR on this photoshoot. The groom’s comfort fit wedding band from RING BEAR features 14K recycled gold in a Classic style. By utilizing recycled metals RING BEAR, which is Carbonfree certified, is able to reduce carbon emissions by 95% while maintaining the value of newly mined gold – plus their packaging uses recycled plastic and sustainable timber.
I thought a lot about current and past clients when thinking up the design concept. I wanted it to feel elevated, yet approachable which is the aesthetic I see a lot of modern couples looking to achieve on their wedding day. The Fig House has amazing design details and color throughout the space. We chose a color palette that was true to the fall season that would blend seamlessly with the rich colors already in place at the venue.
This has to be one of my all time favorite fall wedding tablescapes. LA Tige did an amazing job using a variety of blooms with varying textures to create the modern florals. Borrow and Bash provided the perfect mix of tableware with ceramic dinnerware, metallic gold flatware, and vintage glasses.
Sandy at Roseville Designs worked her magic in creating a modern stationary suite with geometric shapes and metal trim. The colors and overall design worked perfectly for this modern and moody wedding.
The catering team at Room Forty, brought their best as always with a creative display of small bites for hungry wedding guests!
New and Nostalgic Rentals curated lounge vignette’s that blended perfectly with the venues backdrop of greenery and their signature teal walls. The perfect place to cozy up with a drink after dinner!
For the attire, we kept modern details in mind. The burgundy tux from Friar Tux styled with loafers and an unbuttoned look paired perfectly with the gowns from Fleurish LA bridal boutique. The ceremony gown from Rachel Rose and Peter Trends has a dramatic high slit with everyone’s favorite detail- pockets! The reception gown from Watters is perfect for cozying up in the lounge. I’m in love with the draped back and button details!
If you love this cake from Sweet Darling Cakery as much as I do, you’ll also love that it is vegan! I can tell you from taste testing myself you would never guess! Marie works her magic creating flavors and cake designs suitable for vegan dietary needs of couples and their wedding guests.
Makeup the Bride created a gorgeous fall look complete with a bold lip for our bride. Windy City Brides went for a chic updo with loose waves around the face to complete this modern romantic beauty look.
As a Los Angeles wedding planner, I was so excited to see this shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes! Head on over for more gorgeous images from this moody fall wedding inspiration at the Fig House.
