Spring 2022 Wedding Guest Style

2022 wedding season is in full swing and more than likely you’ve got a couple of weddings on the books. Being the fashion lover I am, I decided to round up some of the big trends in wedding guest style for spring and summer 2022. Word of advice: If you find something you like, act fast. Coming out of the fashion industry it is painfully clear how many supply chain problems there are and the one thing I’ve learned is to buy it when you see it. Because tomorrow, next week… it might be gone.

I’ve rounded up some amazing size inclusive options below from the key trends we are seeing this year. Top of the list of course is the Bridgerton garden party aesthetic. Picture yourself entering a flower filled garden, greeted with champagne, parasol optional. So many great styles at all kinds of price points. Don’t forget to add a mini bag for the necessities!

Garden Party

Pastels

Next up, pastels! I know what you’re thinking. Pastels and floral prints for spring, GROUNDBREAKING. Well guess what, pastel colors continue to be a key focus for spring and summer and looking to be a 2023 wedding trend as well. I love this color palette for an afternoon, semi formal wedding. I even included the oh-so-popular slip dress for those that didn’t get enough last year.

Jumpsuits

A big 2022 trend that hits across the board from casual weekend to evening looks is jumpsuits. Wedding jumpsuits are a great one and done alternative to dresses. Cutout detail

Cut out dresses are not a new trend but something that continued to be on the runway for spring. These give me all the sexy summer night vibes. Pair this with strappy heels and a spicy margarita and you’re good to go!

Black Tie

Is the wedding you are attending black tie? Go for a long gown that hits on or just above the floor with your shoes on. Sparkle and shine hit the mark for black tie weddings so look for fabrics like satin and sequins.

Two Piece Set’s

Your guest list approved look is not only limited to wedding guest dresses. These coordinating sets are just as effortlessly chic. I love two piece sets for the simple fact that you can create more outfits by pairing each piece with other items.

Statement Suiting

Bold suiting is probably my favorite trend of 2022 that I will never wear. If you’ve ever met me you know I’m a neutrals gal. But I absolutely love the idea of suiting for wedding guest attire. A blazer and the right fit trousers can be flattering on all body types. Pair with statement earrings and a low heel for a sophisticated, chic aesthetic.
