As we start to plan 2023 weddings, many of my couples have food on the brain. I may be partial being an LA native. But Los Angeles truly offers some amazing food experiences. If you are a foodie yourself or just want your guests to walk away raving about how amazing the food was; check out these hot menu ideas for your 2023 wedding in Los Angeles.

  1. Oyster Bar

For couples who want guests raving about the food all night, kick things off with an oyster bar. Not only does this setup have a unique elevated look. Eating oysters is a foodie experience your guests will be talking about long after the last song.

2. Grazing Board + Charcuterie Cups

If there is one thing I’ve been seeing get more and more creative it’s charcuterie for parties. The options seem to be endless as caterers and specialty companies are getting super creative with their offerings. Whether you want a large grazing board or adorable individual charcuterie cups. This is always a guaranteed hit with guests!

3. Paella

This is a super fun option for couples to lean into their culture, travels they’ve enjoyed together, or even just a love for international cuisine. Served family style or in individual dishes, this is one your guests will surely remember and enjoy.

4. Bubble Tea

I love this idea for warm summer weddings. Mix up your beverage offerings with bubble tea options for a special treat!

5. Churro Bites

I love this idea for dessert, late night snacks, or even cocktail hour. Warm churro bites are perfect served in individual servings with a sweet dipper, or from a cute churro cart!

6. Sushi Bar

Nothing says we are foodies like a sushi bar! I love this idea as a self serve station during cocktail hour, or served on trays as a sushi assortment! Colorful, fresh, and perfect for spring and summer California weddings.

7. Late Night Local Favorite

Late night snacks are a big favorite with my couples and are sure to be a 2023 wedding trend. There’s nothing better than something sweet or a little greasy at the end of the night after you’ve been hitting the bar and the dance floor. I love the idea of local food favorites as an homage to the city the couple lives in. Some Angeleno favorites are the In n Out truck, street hot dogs, and pizza from your favorite local spot!

8. Taco + Marg Taster

Nothing says Los Angeles wedding in summer more than tacos and margaritas! It’s a local and personal favorite. Keep on theme with local foodie favorites with a mini taco and margarita taster combo. I’ll take mine spicy, please!

Would you have any of these served at your wedding? Which is your favorite?
