From the very beginning, Sierra and Eddy knew they wanted a Los Angeles wedding that felt like them. Elevated but relaxed, intentional without being over-designed, and full of warmth, color, and personality. Their wedding at The Fig House was a joyful reflection of their story, their community, and the city where it all began.

The two met at Occidental College. Planning their wedding in Los Angeles felt like a meaningful way to welcome family and friends into the life they’ve built. They were excited to show their loved ones their version of LA. The Fig House quickly rose to the top of their venue list. Once they stepped inside, there was no looking back. The intimate scale, bold personality, and standout menu made it the perfect backdrop for a thoughtfully designed Los Angeles wedding that felt both stylish and personal.

Color, Character, and Thoughtful Design

Design-wise, Sierra and Eddy leaned into The Fig House’s signature palette. Layering in oranges, yellows, greens, and blues to create a space that felt vibrant yet grounded. Every detail was intentional, from the rich green bar to playful striped chargers and custom matchbooks that subtly reflected their personalities. The color orange held special meaning as well: a nod to Occidental College, where their story began.
The overall look struck a beautiful balance — elevated but never stuffy, expressive without being overwhelming. It felt welcoming, joyful, and unmistakably theirs. A design approach that allowed this Los Angeles wedding to feel unique while still honoring the venue’s character.

Los Angeles Wedding Planning with Intention (and Very Little Stress)
When it came to choosing a Los Angeles wedding planner, Sierra and Eddy were looking for someone who could truly understand their priorities and help translate their ideas, even the slightly wacky ones, into a cohesive, thoughtful day.
The couple shared:
“It was incredible how you took our quite non descriptive ideas into full blown works of art! All came together so well.“

Throughout the process, the goal was simple: keep wedding planning exciting and joyful, not overwhelming. And while there were a few moments spent deep in the details (affectionately referred to as “plate gate”), the experience was largely stress-free, allowing Sierra and Eddy to stay focused on what mattered most while trusting their Los Angeles wedding planner to handle the rest.

Meaningful Touches That Told Their Story
So many personal elements made this Los Angeles wedding unforgettable:
- Eddy’s signature drink, the spaghette, was a non-negotiable. A playful detail that perfectly captured his personality.
- The kids in the ceremony, especially Parker riding down the aisle in a wagon, added warmth and authenticity.
- A mix of bridesmaid dresses tied together by florals, a shared color palette, and a sweet nod to matching flower tattoos among Sierra and her friends.
Each choice felt intentional and rooted in connection to each other, to their people, and to the moments that shaped them.

A Moment to Take It All In
One of the most meaningful moments of the day came during cocktail hour, when Sierra and Eddy stepped back, not to escape, but to observe. Watching their friends and family mingle beneath twinkling lights, surrounded by lush greenery, colorful furniture, and a beautifully styled bar felt surreal in the best way.
For Eddy, seeing Sierra walk down the aisle was unforgettable. For Sierra, standing up to say her vows, something she’d been nervous about, felt completely right in the moment. Together, these moments captured exactly what their Los Angeles wedding was about: presence, connection, and celebrating love in a way that felt true.

Sierra and Eddy’s wedding at The Fig House was more than a beautiful event, it was a reflection of their story, their city, and the people who surround them. A reminder that when a Los Angeles wedding is rooted in intention and guided by a thoughtful Los Angeles wedding planner, it doesn’t just look good, it feels right.
