I first met Jaclyn at a wedding I coordinated for one of my close friends. Jaclyn was part of the photography team and I knew right from the start we would be friends. We kept in touch over the years, both being in the Los Angeles wedding market. When Jaclyn and James got engaged I was so excited and grateful that they chose me to help plan their Lion’s Park wedding.
It was a gorgeous spring day in Carpinteria. The kind you always hope for on your wedding day. Thinking back on the day I remember just how sweet and silly everyone was. You could see both families were filled with so much joy to see Jaclyn and James get married.

After some teary eyed vows, everyone was ready to celebrate. The sun was out, the drinks were cold, and many games of cornhole were had! The florals of vibrant oranges, pinks, and yellow from Bloom Floral and Foliage added that extra sense of happiness to the day

The wedding reception was held in the Lion’s Park lodge. As the sun went down, guests got nice and cozy under chandeliers.
My favorite moment from this wedding was seeing Jac and James finally feeling relaxed after the ceremony. They are married!
The dinner may have been indoors, but the look and feel was all spring. The vibrant floral centerpieces, colored vases, and greenery strung from the chandeliers gave the whole room a happy feeling.

I think it was at our first meeting when Jaclyn told me she wanted to do a “sloth toss” instead of the traditional bouquet. Being a lover of sloths myself, I was super into this idea! When the time came on the wedding day, she tossed her sloth and it was caught happily by the flower girl!. As the night went on, guests were ready for some fun and hit the dance floor and photo booth the rest of the night.
